Custom Tent for Durbanville Golf Club’s Terrace

After years of hiring tents when needed, Durbanville Golf Club in South Africa wanted a more permanent cover in front of its clubhouse. With support from a local beer company, the club and our local partner took the project forward as a semi-permanent installation.

The exposed site presented a particular challenge, with some of the Cape Town area’s strongest winds. RHI visited and scanned the area to obtain accurate measurements before designing and manufacturing the 245 m² structure. We incorporated the required branding and assisted with installation.

The finished roof covers terrace seating while keeping views of the course open. Since installation, the structure has stood through serious Cape Town storms and strong winds, giving the club a practical, attractive outdoor space for year-round use. The project brought site measurement, bespoke manufacture and installation support together around a demanding setting.
