Stretch Tent Megastructure for a Corporate Event in Doha

A combined 40 m × 80 m stretch-tent structure formed the setting for an international corporate seminar in Doha, Qatar. The bespoke structure was designed, engineered and delivered in just six weeks, bringing a large fabric event space to an open site on a tight programme.

Essential Series tents and custom structures were brought together for the installation. Repeated peaks and valleys give the roof a recognisable profile across the broad footprint, with the fabric form visible from both ground level and above.

The structure takes on a different character after dark. Warm event lighting picks out the roof geometry, turning the pale daytime fabric into an illuminated focal point for the gathering. The scale of the structure and the six-week turnaround are central to the story of this Doha project.
