Project Details

Commissioned by a specialist UK stretch-tent partner for a BBC Radio 1 festival, RHI developed and manufactured a bespoke ten-sided Arachnid stretch tent with a distinctive footprint and a strong presence in the festival setting. The brief called for a large event structure that could meet the practical demands of the UK festival and events industry.

The dark roof rises into a series of peaks, with lowered perimeter sections framing several entrances. Beneath it, matting covers the ground within the tent. The ten-sided geometry gives the structure a recognisable silhouette and an expansive setting for gatherings and experiential events.

Developing this configuration brought the Arachnid form into a new, purpose-built design. RHI’s work covered development and manufacture to the specific brief, bringing together a bold architectural appearance and the functionality needed by an international events partner.
