630 m² Linked Stretch Tents at Nova SBE

Nova School of Business & Economics in Portugal’s Lisbon area wanted to turn its courtyard into a covered space for presentations, catering and events. An important part of the brief was the ability to enclose the area against swirling courtyard winds, then lift the walls out of the way when they were no longer needed.

Working through our Portuguese partner, two linked 15 m × 21 m RHI stretch tents created a 630 m² events space. RHI’s lightweight walling system was a close fit for the brief, giving the perimeter the flexibility to switch between an open courtyard and an enclosed event setting.

The precisely rigged roofs sit within the existing space between the buildings. The installation has become a welcome addition to the university’s facilities, providing a versatile venue that can be used throughout the year.
