Linked Stretch Tents for an Outdoor Gym in Mallorca

An unused outdoor area became a covered training space at a gym in Mallorca, Spain. Outdoor training has become increasingly popular with gym users in Spain, offering a different environment while keeping the equipment and facilities they need close at hand.

Working closely with our Spanish partners, RHI engineered and manufactured four 12 m × 16 m stretch tents. Linked together, they create a covered space of approximately 780 m², bringing a substantial outdoor area into the gym’s operation.

Exercise machines and benches sit beneath the joined roofs, with planting and coloured lighting completing the fit-out. Open sides preserve the feel of training outdoors. The finished space gives the gym additional capacity and has helped increase both membership and revenue, turning a previously unused area into a striking part of the facility.
